I will teach you how to make music with ease. My lessons are a mixture of fundamental practice, routine development, audition preparation, and life coaching.

I will teach you:

How to build an efficient and effective practice routine

How to choose exercises to help develop technique

How to prepare for auditions and performances

How to navigate the stress of the modern world, using music as a medium to let go

Students agree to be on time for lessons with instrument assembled and in working order.

Daily practice is necessary for improvement.

Students are encouraged to take part in additional performance opportunities; chamber music, recitals, masterclass performances, honor bands, etc.

Tuition will be charged on the 1st of each month to the method on file

All payments are non-refundable

The studio is open for 44 weeks each calendar year. The weeks where lessons are not held (due to holidays, personal performance opportunities, or illness) will be communicated in advance.

Studio closure weeks will not receive a make-up lesson credit.

CANCELLATION POLICY
When notice of a missed lesson is provided 24 hours prior, the studio may provide up to 3 make-up lessons each term (January-April; May-August; September-December) subject to availability.

Make-up lessons must be used within 30 days. 

Tuition is based on the number of lessons the studio schedules and will not be altered. Planned vacations or other conflicts communicated in advance receive a make-up lesson credit for that month.

*Enrollment cannot be guaranteed for the fall term without summer enrollment. 

Students must have an instrument at home for practice. Guidance in instrument and mouthpiece selection is included in tuition.

Each student is responsible for purchasing the required music and materials for lessons. Students will be expected to have the newly assigned materials within 2 weeks.

A metronome is a required tool; it can be physical or an app, though physical is preferred.

When a student enrolls, their spot is reserved in the weekly schedule for the entire term. Changes to the schedule may be made on a case-by-case basis.

If a student pauses lessons during the course of a month, tuition is still applied for the remainder of that month. Alterations to this can be made on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that a student’s spot will not be guaranteed for the fall term without summer enrollment.
